Choosing a Venue

Choosing where we were going to have our wedding was single single-handedly the easiest decision we made.  Almost two years ago my mom and I decided to check out the Pendleton Center of the Arts and fell in love.  It had formerly been the Pendleton Public Library that my mom had visited frequently as a child and had been remodeled when the library outgrew the building.  The building itself is very special.  It is a Carnegie Endowment building that was built in 1916 thanks to the perseverance of a group of local women.  When the community began the remodel and restoration in 1996 some amazing architecture was uncovered.  Including a gorgeous stained glass skylight that had been boarded up and completely forgotten about.  The building is gorgeous and a historical landmark in the community.  I'm so excited to have our wedding here!
